TGE looks back on over 40 years of experience in the storage and handling of liquefied gases. Founded in 1980, we have delivered since then millions of cubic meters’ worth of storage and distribution facilities for liquefied gases. We started out as a small, privately owned company in Bonn, Germany, and have continuously expanded to become a major partner in the natural gas and petrochemical markets around the globe. Mr. Yang, was appointed as an Executive Director and General Manager on 27th October 2017. He graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, majoring in Vessel and Marine Engineering.
Mr. Yang joined CIMC as an Officer of the Quality Control Department of Shanghai CIMC Reefer Containers Co., Ltd. in 1997 and held the position until 1999. He was then appointed as Sales Manager of CIMC Group’s Container Operation Department from 2000 to 2009. Mr. Yang was Deputy General Manager of the Company’s Sales and Marketing Department from April 2009 to April 2012. Afterwards, he became the Assistant to the General Manager of the company and held this position from May 2012 to March 2015. From April 2015 until December 2017 Mr. Yang was appointed as General Manager of Nantong CIMC Tank Equipment Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. In addition Mr. Yang worked as the Deputy General Manager of the company from April 2015 to October 2017.
Graduated with a Master of Mechanical Engineering from South China University of Technology (SCUT) in 1994. Joined CIMC Group and participated the acquisition of TGE Gas Engineering. In 2013 appointed as Member of the Executive Board of Directors of TGE and Technodyne. Since 2018 Managing Director of Shanghai CIMC TGE Gas Engineering Co. Ltd., in 2023 appointed as CEO of TGE Gas Engineering and CEO of CIMC TGE Gasinvestments SA.
After having received his Dipl.-Ing. Degree in Industrial Engineering in 2003 Tobias started working as Quality Assurance Engineer, later as QHSE Manager at TGE. 2009 he became a Project Director at Gasfin Development, responsible for onshore LNG Production & Receiving Terminals. In 2015 TGE contracted him as Sales Manager for Europe, leading all proposals for the product line Terminals for LNG and Petrochemicals. With his rich experience gained in this position he was 5 years later promoted as Senior Head of Sales & Business Development. In this position he was responsible for the global Sales Team and all Sales and Customer related activities.

TGE IMS is applicable to the operating units Bonn including the office in Manchester and the operating unit Shanghai. It is also fully applicable on construction sites where TGE is in charge of erection. The product and services covered by the scope of the TGE IMS are defined by the type of service and contract and by the purpose of the delivered hardware.
In view of subcontracted works the scope of the TGE IMS is limited by TGE´s actual ability to exercise control and influence. This may depend on the project specific situation.
