- Managing and performing the Materials (including valves) works in projects, proposal and studies.
- To develop the technical standards of the company in terms of Piping Materials (including Valves).
- To support the Head of Department with the department development plan.
- To support the Technical development of the team members
- Multi-disciplinary coordination of Materials (including valves) during all phases
- Develop the project piping classes for all process and utility services
- Create and maintain all data sheets for process and utility valves
- Create and maintain data sheets for piping special items
- Implement a piping material procedure for procurement lifecycle
- Support with developing of corporative tool and procedure for material control
- Master or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Piping Materials within chemical / petrochemical plants preferably in the gas industry
- Wide Industry knowledge
- Knowledge of applicable national and international codes and standards
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English (knowledge of German language is appreciated)
- Good managerial, leadership and people management skills
- Highly open minded, experienced in working in international teams
- High self-motivation, team spirit and assertiveness
